We want to reduce CO2 emissions by 2.5% every year

In autumn 2019 Certas was awarded the Swiss Climate environmental certificate as a CO2-neutral firm. This means we have committed, among other things, to reducing CO2 emissions by 2.5% every year until 2030. Over 80% of all our CO2 emissions come from commuting (69%) and business trips within Switzerland (15%). All our employees have been given a financial incentive to switch to public transport. Further potential for improvement has been identified in consumable materials and electricity use. Certas also relies on environmentally friendly power from renewable energies. In March 2020 Certas planted trees under the aegis of Swiss Climate. We are proud to be making a contribution to the Swiss climate targets 2030 through our commitment.
